If it works correctly, discard the old version of WD Drive Utilities. Test the new WD Drive Utilities v2.1.1.100 application. Move the WD Drive Utilities v2.1.1.100 application to wherever your previous WD Drive Utilities application was located.However, the good news was he was able to recover a portion of the drive which was not as damaged. My 2018 Macbook Pro had froze up while my 2TB WD Element external hard drive was plugged in. They are fast and professional and do exactly what they say they are going to do with up front pricing. They were able to fix my external within 3 days! Paul was the one that was actually working on my drive and I got about 99% of my files back! Some of the files that were lost were super corrupted, but luckily, there weren't any important ones that were lost!
